The Pedagogy, Scholarship, & Advocacy Advisory Group is dedicated to fostering the development and promotion of inclusive and critical pedagogical strategies for educators. Our primary mission is to provide support for a wide range of pedagogical initiatives, which encompass curriculum design, instructional materials, open access educational resources, professional development opportunities, and a space to collectively discuss relevant scholarship. We are committed to advocating for improved accessibility in education, ensuring that all educators and learners have equitable access to quality resources. In particular, we focus on addressing concerns related to textbooks, aiming to make them more inclusive, accessible, and available to diverse audiences. Our group serves as a network for educators, offering support and advocacy to empower them in their mission to enhance the educational experience for all.

The Communities for People Minoritized by our Field(s) Advisory Group is for people who are experiencing or who have experienced challenges within their jobs and broader professional lives due to the social positions they occupy. As minoritized people, our goals with this group are to come together and form the types of community, mutual aid, and other forms of solidarity and support that have been absent from other spaces. This action group is open to, run by, and exists for people who occupy social positions such as queer, Black, Latine, trans, disabled, chronically ill, etc. As one of our core activities, this action group builds community and relationships through our mutual aid program, which pairs together individuals based on shared experiences.

The Graduate Student and Early Career Scholars Advisory Group is committed to providing guidance and connection to early career scholars-in-training, including current and recent graduate students and early career scholars of all forms. Our goal is to create events, resources, and community that support those in the transitional and often precarious years during and after the PhD. We advocate for a broad understanding of early career scholarship which includes but is not limited to the tenure track, and seek to bring in members and perspectives from diverse roles and career pathways.
