Our Mission

The DDFC is a forum that aims to foster conversation about French & Francophone studies, with a focus on diversity, inclusion, equity, and social justice, and to empower scholars and practitioners.  

Support

  • Create a community of scholars interested in inclusive teaching and scholarship in French and Francophone studies
  • Offer workshops and panels to support inclusive teaching
  • Provide a support system for instructors and graduate students

Working Groups
The DDFC Steering Committee has identified four main objectives for the ​school year 2021-2022 and created action groups that will work collaboratively on defining specific goals to accomplish. Please contact the group moderators if you are interested in joining us.
